Common environmental test items and methods for LED grow lights

Common environmental test items for LED grow lights include: high temperature and high pressure and its impact test, low temperature and low pressure and impact test, normal temperature and normal pressure impact test, temperature cycle test, constant damp heat test, vibration test and life test. The test method is as follows:

1.High temperature and high pressure and its impact test

Target: LED lamps (finished lamps with LED Driver)

Reference standard: industry experience

Test Methods

1).Place 5 LED fixtures in a room with a room temperature of 60

2).Adjust the input voltage of the LED luminaire to 1.1 times the maximum rated input voltage through a voltage regulator.

3).Turn on the power, turn on the light 24H, and observe whether the lamp is damaged or the material is deformed by heat.

4). After the lighting test, the impact test is carried out in this environment by the relay control lamp. The test setting is: lighting for 20s, extinguishing for 20s, cycle 100 times.

Test requirements: A, after the high temperature and high pressure test, the lamp can not be exposed, such as paint stripping, discoloration, cracking, material deformation, etc.

After the impact test, the lamp can not be electrically anomalous such as leakage or lighting.

2. Low temperature and low pressure and its impact test

Target: LED lamps (finished lamps with LED Driver)

Test Methods

1).Place 5 LED fixtures in a -15 environment

2). Adjust the input voltage of the LED luminaire to 0.9 times the minimum rated input voltage through a voltage regulator

3).Turn on the power, turn on the light 24H, and observe whether the lamp is damaged or the material is deformed by heat.

4).After the lighting test, the impact test is carried out in this environment by the relay control lamp. The test setting is: lighting for 20s, extinguishing for 20s, cycle 100 times.

Test requirements: A, after the low temperature and low pressure test, the lamp can not be exposed, such as paint stripping, discoloration, cracking, material deformation, etc.

After the impact test, the lamp can not be electrically anomalous such as leakage or lighting.

3. Normal temperature and normal pressure impact test

Test Methods

1).Place 5 LED luminaires in a room temperature of 25

2).Turn on the power according to the rated input voltage of the LED lamp

3).Through the relay control lamp, the impact test is carried out under normal temperature and normal pressure. The test setting is: lighting for 30s, light-off for 30s, cycle 10000 times.

Test requirements: After the normal temperature and normal pressure impact test, the lamp can not cause electrical anomalies such as leakage, lighting, etc.

4. Temperature cycle test

Target: LED lamps (finished lamps with LED Driver)

Reference standard: industry experience

Test Methods

1).Place 5 LED luminaires in a test box, the temperature of the test box can adjust the rate of temperature change

2).Turn on the power according to the rated input voltage of the LED lamp

3).The temperature range of the test box is set from -10 to 50, and the temperature shift rate is greater than 1/min but less than 5/min.

4).The test box is kept at 0.5H at high temperature and low temperature, and is cycled 8 times.

Test requirements: After the temperature cycle test, the lamp can not be electrically anomalous such as leakage or lighting.

5,Constant damp heat test

Target: LED lamps (finished lamps with LED Driver)

Reference standard: industry experience

Test Methods

1).Place 5 LED lamps in a constant temperature and humidity chamber. The constant temperature and humidity chamber is set to a relative humidity of 95% and a temperature of 45.

2).Connect the power supply to the lamp according to the rated input voltage of the LED lamp 48H

3).After removing the sample, dry the surface water droplets and check it at normal atmospheric pressure and normal temperature for 2H.

Test requirements: 1, the appearance is free of rust, cracks or other mechanical damage

2).Electrical anomalies such as leakage, no lighting, etc.

6,Vibration test

Target: LED lamps (finished lamps with LED Driver)

Reference standard: industry experience

Test Methods

1).Pack 5 LED luminaire samples and place them on the vibration test bench

2). Set the vibration speed of the vibration tester to 300 rpm, the amplitude is set to 2.54 cm, and start the vibrometer.

3). According to the above method, the lamps are tested for 30 minutes in the up, down, left and right directions.

Test requirements: After the vibration test, the lamp can not be abnormal, such as part falling off, structural damage, and no lighting.
